See Jasper’s deepest canyon from a whole new perspective. Explore winter’s natural majesty with Maligne Canyon Icewalks.

Maligne Canyon's 4 kilometers ice walking tour takes you into the heart of the canyon to discover its frozen falls, frosted limestone and natural ice sculptures. Everything you need is provided to safely navigate the canyon floor, from helmets, boots and cleats to in depth guidance from a trained tour leader.

The Maligne Canyon icewalk experience can also includes a smokehouse lunch at Maligne Canyon Wilderness Kitchen, complete with main course, side and non-alcoholic drink.

Maligne Canyon icewalk tours depart twice a day, Thursdays through Mondays, at 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. (noon). Lunch is served after the 9 a.m. tours and at 12 p.m. before the afternoon tours.

Uncover frozen water falls, fossils and ice caves in Jasper’s deepest canyon. Maligne Canyon guided ice walk tours provide everything you need to explore the canyon floor, including boots, ice cleats and helmets. Icewalks consist of a 4 km hike and take roughly two-and-a-half hours start to finish.
